Funding for CLEO Broadband Connections

The capital cost of installing the CLEO connection to your school

The recent upgrade programme to provide 100Mb to Secondary schools & 10Mb to Primary schools has been funded by the centrally retained 2008 - 11 Harnessing Technology grants. Both counties School Forums approved this retention to ensure aggregated procurement could take place on behalf of schools across the region. This includes all equipment, installation and testing required to provide CLEO service to your school - there will be no charge to the school for this upgrade work.  Schools are responsible for all costs incurred to provide adequate power sockets (extension leads are not recommended), additional shelving and providing a data cabinet.
