Becta ICT Excellence Awards|Becta's ICT Excellence Awards aim to identify and reward schools who are transforming their practice using ICT. The 2010 ICT Excellence Awards are likely to be open for entries in January 2010. The seventh eLearning Awards competition is now open and schools are invited to submit entries for the eLearning Awards 2007 that exemplify the best use of ICT in education. Entries are welcome from schools or teachers in EU Member States, EEA Countries, EU Applicant Countries as well as
The aim of the competition is to promote the use of ICT in education and to encourage schools to collaborate. A gallery will showcase on the eLearning Portal contributions from all around

Entries will be judged by a panel of experts and the winners presented with their prizes at a prestigious event on 6th December at the annual EMINENT Conference in Brussels, to be opened by Jan Figel’, European Commissioner for Education, Training and Culture.
London 2012 Velodream Competition|This competition from the London 2012 Olympic Delivery Authority is aimed at involving young people in the Great Britain's Olympic programme. The competition aims to put young people’s planning, creative and descriptive skills to the test. Pupils up to age 16 are asked to design their dream VeloPark that could both host the cycling events of the future and be used by local communities all year round. For more information click here |
